It all started on a beach. Or perhaps it was in the mountains. Truthfully, I don’t remember the first stone I ever collected. What I do know is what drew me to my collection was the wonder of God’s creations, the rarity of a precious stone, being as unique as a fingerprint.

 

My travels around the world have brought on a new found adoration for the earth on which we walk. From the simplest pebble to the sharp cut of a stone, I have found purpose in repurposing these simple gifts that God has created. My hope is to share my inspiration through my art.

 

When I’m not designing, I enjoy spending time with my kids and grandkids, performing on stage with my local community theatre, enjoying a beer at a local biergarten, playing a hand of sheepshead, volunteering with disaster relief with my trusty chainsaw and, of course, traveling anywhere and as much as I can. I am a retired Neuro-ICU nurse and live in Menomonee Falls, WI.
